@therogueslife @dcseifert iPad can't tether, I believe, not even with Lightroom, which is a huge drawback. I used to shoot tethered on my MacBook Air and I had to give that up on iPad. Dan's workflow for photos is much more streamlined on Surface. (I've shot many events using my iPad, but it's ungainly)
