    @loudmouthjulia If you're happy with the laptop you can just get a replacement BATTERY. Apple Store or a local Mac-savvy tech can do it. You can DIY but it's a pain and tricky enough I wouldn't recommend. You probably have a repair shop/person in your neighborhood who could do it
