      @mdwolinski I don’t think I ever said Apple Store employees get commissions. Think bigger cultural picture - it is the function of Apple Retail to sell new products more than it is to fix old products. Perhaps they think of themselves as support first, new sales second… but I doubt that.

    @mdwolinski Or to put it another way, when you walk into an Apple Store do you feel like the goal is to fix your three-year-old phone and selling you a new model is a last resort to be avoided?
